We’re all moved in!

Well some of us are. It’s been an extremely exciting week here at Carlin, we might not have had any races to attend but we’ve been busy testing and moving into our brand new, beautifully shiny, factory.

There still aren’t any cars in the workshop (most of them are out testing) however we do have Vettel’s World Series challenger suspended off our wall – we even have pot plants!

The factory is about 15 minutes from our old home and is based on a business park just on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey and if we do say so ourselves… it’s an impressively big building set over two floors with stunning glass panels to allow us views over the work bays.

We can’t wait to get all the cars and trophies in so that we can see it in its full glory – we’ll continue to post pictures on twitter so keep an eye on our feed.

However it’s not all been fun and games getting to know our new offices, we’ve also been out testing this week. Currently the British F3 team are at Donington, while the GP2 team have been in Barcelona this week with Max Chilton, Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer. All three drivers have been gathering brilliant data and putting in some great race runs and quick sector times throughout the session.

Kevin has also been announced this week as one of our FR3.5 drivers for the 2012 season, he impressed everyone at Carlin with his ability during his test in the car last week and the whole team look forward to working with him again.

We’ll post more pictures as the factory gets filled up but until then check out these. We’re off to water our new pot plants!
